There isn’t always a wallbox to hand: at a holiday home, visiting family, in a garage without a charge point or as a back-up on the road. The TOPDON PulseQ AC Portable is a portable charger for vehicles with a Type 2 inlet. It charges on single-phase power at up to 3.7 kW, shows the charging status on its LCD display and starts as soon as you plug in or at a scheduled time.

Safety
The control box with built-in residual current protection monitors the charging process continuously. According to TOPDON, it protects against:

How fast does the PulseQ AC Portable charge?
At up to 3.7 kW. That’s fine for overnight charging, but fully charging a large battery takes many hours.
Can I use an extension lead?
No. Plug the charger directly into a suitable socket, without an extension lead, cable reel or multi-way adapter.
Can I charge in the rain?
The control box is IP65-rated against dust and water jets. The socket itself must be suitable for outdoor use.
