THINKCAR PROG2 is a powerful anti-theft tool for reading and writing auto key chips, developed by THINKCAR. It is widely used in the automotive industry, auto repair workshops, by locksmiths, and professional mechanics.

Main functions:

THINKCAR PROG2 is primarily used for reading and writing auto transponder chip data, including EEPROM reading and writing, on-board MCU reading and writing, generating Benz infrared keys, generating special keys, reading BMW engine INS codes, reading and writing BMW cas4+/FEM chips, etc.

Car key programming:

THINKCAR PROG2 supports reading, copying, and writing auto transponder chip data as well as other functions related to car keys. You can use the car key programming function to copy the data from the old key and write it into the new key to create a new key.

Transmission programming:

THINKCAR PROG2 supports transmission programming to restore old transmission data or replace old transmission data and write new data.

Supports reading and writing Volkswagen’s fourth-generation UDS engine chips. Supports the replacement of Volkswagen/Audi engines of the fourth generation with UDS (from 2016 onwards). Supports erasing transmission data for BMW vehicles with E, F, and G chassis and 8HP transmissions. Supports transmission replacement or cloning for Volkswagen/Audi vehicles on the MQB platform. Supports replacement of the dashboard or steering column for Volkswagen/Audi vehicles on the MQB platform. Supports replacement of the ECU (engine control unit) for the fifth-generation Audi transmission. However, this does not apply to models with 35XX or NEC24c64 chips from 14+. Supports replacement of the engine for Volkswagen/Audi vehicles on the MQB platform. It is not necessary to read the engine data of the original vehicle; it can be read directly from the key.
