Autel MaxiSys Elite II Pro – Professional Diagnostic Tablet with J2534 Programming
In short: The Autel Elite II Pro (MaxiSys Elite II Pro) is the successor to the Elite II and is designed for workshops that diagnose multiple vehicle brands every day and occasionally need ECU programming. The included MaxiFlash VCI serves as both the diagnostic interface and J2534 Pass-Thru device, while the 9.7-inch display provides plenty of space for viewing live data and graphs. Two years of software updates are included.

- need an oscilloscope integrated into the diagnostic system – for this, consider the Autel MaxiSys Ultra S2 with VCMI2
- only need to reset service functions and read fault codes – the Elite II Pro would be more than you need
- do not use manufacturer portals and have no need for J2534 programming
What the Elite II Pro Can Do in the Workshop
At its core, the Elite II Pro is a full-system diagnostic tool. It provides access to all supported control units, fault codes with descriptions, live data and active tests for the engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, TPMS, body systems and many other vehicle systems. More than 38 service functions cover common workshop tasks, from oil reset and DPF regeneration to steering angle calibration and ABS bleeding.
For modern vehicles, the MaxiFlash VCI supports DoIP and CAN FD. On supported BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, ECUs can be programmed and software updated, while programming for other manufacturers can be performed via J2534 using the manufacturer’s own software. Coding and adaptations after component replacement are also supported where available. Pre- and Post-Scan reports document the vehicle’s condition before and after repairs, making them useful for customers, workshop records and insurance cases.

- J2534 for Other BrandsRequires the vehicle manufacturer’s software and access to the manufacturer’s portal. Neither is included with the device.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Elite II Pro the same as the Ultra?
No. Both support J2534 programming, but the Ultra series adds an oscilloscope through its VCI and features a larger display. The Elite II Pro is the more affordable option if you do not need integrated measurement functions.
What’s new compared with the Elite II?
The Elite II Pro adds features including DoIP and CAN FD support for newer vehicles, as well as a newer Android operating system.
Do I need an additional subscription for Jeep and Fiat?
Yes. For vehicles equipped with Security Gateway protection, an AutoAuth account is required.
