The Autel MaxiCheck MX900 is an 8-inch touchscreen diagnostic tablet for workshops and advanced automotive users. It reads and clears fault codes from all accessible control units, displays freeze-frame and live data graphically, performs more than 3,000 active tests and offers over 40 service functions. As the successor to the MX808, it runs on Android 11, has twice the RAM and supports DoIP, CAN FD as well as FCA and Renault Security Gateway access.

The MX900 can directly activate components via the control unit – for example injectors, headlights, fuel pump, air conditioning or clutch. This allows you to test both the component and its control without removing anything. Availability depends on the vehicle.
Practical Example: Document Repairs with Pre- and Post-Scan
The MX900 reporting function turns diagnostic results into clear and traceable documentation for the customer:
- Pre-Scan at Vehicle IntakeScan all control units before starting work and save the report. This documents which faults were already present.
- Diagnostics and RepairNarrow down faults using live data and active tests, carry out the repair and perform the required adaptations or reset functions.
- Post-Scan After RepairScan all control units again. The report shows that the fault has been resolved and that no new faults have appeared.
- Provide the ReportShow both reports to the customer or add them to the workshop records – transparent and easy to document.
DoIP, CAN FD and Gateway Access
