THINKCAR ThinkEasy – battery test clip with Bluetooth and app

When a car struggles to start in the morning, the question is always the same: is the battery just flat, is it worn out – or is the alternator not charging properly? The THINKCAR ThinkEasy answers that in seconds. Clip it onto the battery, open the app, start the test. It doesn’t need a display: the result appears on your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Three tests, one clear answer

• Battery testState of health (SOH), state of charge (SOC), measured cold cranking amps (CCA), voltage and internal resistance – with a clear recommendation: charge or replace

The app saves the results as a test report, so you can show the customer why a new battery is needed – or why it isn’t.

Which batteries?

It tests 12V starter batteries from 100 to 2,000 CCA – in cars, vans, motorcycles, boats and ride-on mowers. Supported types are flooded, AGM (flat plate and spiral), EFB and gel. You can choose between the CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, IEC, EN and SAE standards, so the rating on European batteries (EN or DIN) can be checked directly.

The battery can stay in the vehicle – no need to remove it for testing.

Smart design

The Bluetooth module and battery sit inside the negative clamp. That keeps the tester compact and lets your phone stay a few metres away during the test – up to 10 m according to the manufacturer. Copper clamps and cable ensure a stable measurement, and Bluetooth 5.0 gives a fast connection with very low power consumption.
