The OBD-Pro License is a digital activation for an existing compatible diagnostic tool. It enables online coding and online programming for 12 months – for passenger cars, electric vehicles and motorcycles. After the license expires, diagnostic functions and offline coding remain available.

Online or Offline Coding – What Is the Difference?
Offline Coding
The diagnostic tool changes control unit settings directly without connecting to a server – for example, enabling or disabling comfort functions or adjusting vehicle configurations. These functions remain available even after the license expires.
Online Coding and Programming
For many operations, the required data is retrieved from a server during the process, for example when adapting a new control unit or installing control unit software. The OBD-Pro License enables these online functions for one year.
