The MUCAR FCA SGW Unlock is a digital 12-month license for authorized access to FCA/Stellantis vehicles equipped with a Security Gateway. With a compatible MUCAR diagnostic tool such as the MUCAR 892BT or 892BT Pro, supported diagnostic, service, adaptation and coding functions that would otherwise be blocked by the gateway become available again.

FCA was one of the first manufacturers to introduce a Security Gateway between the OBD port and the vehicle network. On many newer Fiat, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge and RAM vehicles, the gateway allows only read access without authorization. For workshops and technicians, this means:
